has any of you guys got links to the set ups some of you have.
as ive herd of storeage boxes , old fish tanks plastic & glass, faunariums being used and there arnt many images on google. lol
new to snails i played safe and got a starter kit from the internet. and it came with a plastic terrarium. so now im just waiting for part 2 of the kit to come.. the snails, and 3.3ltrs coir block substrate + snail house + piece of cuttlefish + 55 grams of EXTRA snail mix food +40 grams of moss.
just wondering how really you would go about making it a happy habitat for them.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Yeah, it's in the wrong place but please don't worry about that, it's honestly not a problem, I'll move it to the habitat/housing section Well here's one link supersnails.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=housing&action=display&thread=1023 , with a plastic tub - another supersnails.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=housing&action=display&thread=1004 though my set-ups have changed since then Another... supersnails.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=housing&action=display&thread=1001There's loads of pictures but i think some of them must be in the 'pictures' section. basically snails appreciate a place to hide. I use resin logs as they never go mouldy and can look realistic. another suggestion is a sturdy plant pot. They like a water dish, though this is not essential. Coir is a good choice for substrate, again it's personal preference, some keepers favour coir, some favour organic compost. And then everything else is decoration really. You could place abranch in there, again you can get artificial ones that will last forever. You may wish to put in fake plants, or even some live plants like a tub of cress. From a snail's point of view something to hide under is the most necessary accessory for your tank.
