I think most snails are banned in the US but im not 100%. they had a problem with them being released/escaping and just breeding and eating everything, massively disrupted the wildlife out there. why is it always the americans that let their pets free??? like when they buy baby crocs and they get too big and they release them into the sewers and all kinds of crazy lol

from what i have read the achatina are illegal in america dn mexico the americans class them as a pest and there is also the issue of the rates lung worm which can lead to menigitis, but that is mostly found in wild snails
