Marrow the Margie Bulldozer n his adventures.

Well it all started with me getting a nice big new 2nd hand Snail tank, and getting it set up for everyone. All the GALS are in this tank for a few weeks whilst my art studio is being built at one end of my room. Keeping this in mind I put in plenty of hiding places and extra flower pots etc to keep every one happy in there temporary new home. Here's a pic of the new Snail tank.



Well Marrow got to thinking and planning again and this usually leads him into trouble of some sort and this new tank was no exception.

Marrow being the super cool snail he thinks he is decided it was time to become the new owner of his fav flower pot and he set off when everyone was busy to check it all out. So Marrow the biggest bulldozer became the super Stealth Snail on his secret ( well not so secret due to his size) Spy mission. First part of his plan was to get really high up so no one would see him despite his size in his mind he's invisible .



Then he managed at last to creep stealthily on top of the flower pot by sliming over the box of eggs.



So far so good, Marrow still being undiscovered is able to put the next part of his dastardly plan into action as he spy's on the unsuspecting snails inside the flower pot and next to the new big bath he wants so much.




Marrow his darstedly plan completed now uses eye stalk waving and sign language to chase all the other snails out of his newly claimed flower pot!



Marrow after claiming his new flower pot decides that its time for his fav past time eating and relaxing with his many fans the Baby bulldozers so joins them for dinner.



Finally after sharing dinner with his adoring fans the Baby Bulldozers Marrow decides to slime off to the big bath next to his new flower pot for a bath and relax




Marrow finally asleep in his new flower pot after a busy time snailing, spying and claiming his new home then meeting his adoring fans and of course eating and having a bath in his new pool.
( This is the same flower pot I just rescued the box of eggs from the top of it and moved them to safety away from Marrow and also added some more moss.)



Well we all thought Marrow's adventure ended here but apparently not because whilst he slept the Baby Bulldozers hatched there own darstedly plan and Marrow woke to a big surprise . His adoring fans all the baby Bulldozers have invaded Marrow's new lair and set up home in his new flower pot home with him over nite whilst he slept.

Marrow woke up to find himself covered in all the Baby bulldozers crammed into his new flower pot. His facial expressions were priceless .

We wait with baited breath now to see what he does next, at the moment he's extracted himself from the pile of Baby bulldozers in his flower pot and slimmed over to sit in the bath with a grumpy look on his face to try and relax whilst he thinks up his next dastardly plan of what to do with his admiring fan club who love him so much.

I'm real glad that you like them, they are all great character who are very curious and friendly once they get to know you.

Once you have Bulldozers in your life and snail tanks it'll never be the same again as they keep you occupied with there antic's .

Marrow's super secret sneaky moves remind me of my dear Halonen btw, she sticks to the root pieces in the tank to sleep. She must think she's perfectly camouflaged in full view. I have a hard time resisting the temptation to touch her when she does that lol..but I don't want to break it to her that the hide may need some rethinking. She also sometimes tries to woo everyone even though she's the biggest by a long shot and in snail world she should be the only one getting woo'd. I'm starting to think she and Marrow may have a lot in common and the Bulldozers hopefully will like her for it.

Ohh defiantly they will just thing her another Marrow and no doubt follow her around everywhere.

Marrow's still trying to figure out how to keep all the baby Bulldozers out of his new flower pot.

Yesterday he took food into it and then moss and some bits of wood and wedged himself in, he still woke to find a heap of baby bulldozers all around and on top of him. He's currently again sitting in his bath with a grumpy look on his face thinking up what to do next .

Hahaha poor Marrow.
Gotta love grumpy bathing snails. Mine mostly make all kinds of funny faces if someone has spilled all the bathwater and I haven't noticed quickly enough. When I add water, their faces become smooth and nice and sometimes they fall asleep right there, awwww.

! Yeah I sure know that one as well, Marrow's quite a character for sure. He loves the attention of his adoring fans when he's awake but he def likes his own flower pot to himself. Even Maple has to sleep in the entrance and there good friends .

Lol yes it's funny how some snails truly need their own space and will defend it. My balteata Mauno wasn't impressed when he'd just taken the corner of the tank all for himself, with Gaius the Tiger staying away very politely, and I moved in a few young fulica to fill the gap that Ewert left behind till I get more Tiger snails in a few days. Of course the young fulica went to eat Mauno's food and calcium and to sleep with him!
I wonder how Mauno will react when he sees another balteata later this summer, will he let the new one to his corner peacefully or will he continue to keep his own space? Oh, the excitement of the Snail Soap.

Yessss indeed, I'm getting some albino Tigers! I've known since Feb that I'm getting them, what a long wait it was, but now they'll be here on Tuesday I think.

I Was going to be sending you as surprise with your snails this week in the form of Seilide as a companion for Gaius after everything that just happened. But my rug rats will be delighted he can stay and I'll get him a mate. Saying that secretly Seilide is my fav as well lol.

really glad that you got some more tiger snails and I'll def be interested in some of there babies when they start laying eggs. have you got a mate for Mauno yet as I would like some of his offspring as well.

Awwww Zorst!!! That is a REALLY sweet thought and I appreciate it very, very much. Here have a virtual hug!!  
Funny as it is, I almost didn't get the albinos as there was something that nearly stopped the process at one point (so for a moment there I didn't actually "know" anymore that I was getting them...little correction to what I said earlier, heh) but thankfully it worked out in the end. Now they only need to get here safely!

I'll keep you in mind if I can get them to breed, they mature so slowly though...but I'll let you know if it happens.  

Mauno doesn't have a mate yet, I'm looking to order one in early July. I too really hope they'll be friends, and later on, breed! Baby balteata are adorable, Mauno's baby photos make me laugh so much as he's so huge and fat now, and he already was a tiny supermodel snail as a baby.
