I put cockroaches in the title because I know many of you do not like buggies, but I am very fond of my little pets. My two Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, Rosie and Alfie Cuddle-Bugs have had babies so I guess that makes me a grandma.
Quite understand if you don't want to share, but I really love them.

I love bugs, I have a big spider living in a houseplant right now and it makes me happy as he catches fungus gnats. Congrats on the babies!

Thanks Etana darling, it is so nice to hear my friends say nice things about my buggies because I love them very much. We too have a few resident spiddies, who lay eggs every year in the same place in my bedroom. They are so cute.

I luv bugs... spiders not so much! Would absolutely keep cockroaches, and giant milipedes if I was allowed! Think they're amazing and so unusual... but I'm not allowed anymore pets I'll get some once I have my own place tho!

Sorry Kippen hunny, I am such a dozy head, I have only just seen your very kind reply. I have kept giant millipedes and they are just adorable. Never mind love, it is something to look forward to in the future, when I was your age, I didn't have exotic pets either so just look to the future.

Sure am! Thinking about maybe getting a career in herpetology... then I can do what I love and get played for it and I wouldn't even be doing it for th money so it wouldn't even feel like a job but I'd still get some cash... so that would be a bonus!!!!

It's good getting paid for doing what you enjoy. That's why I work in school. Kids are so funny, never a dull day. The6 loved it when I took my snails in and we have a woman who works in school educating them about all sorts of small animals. She has spiders, snakes, snails, cockroaches and loads of other critters. The kids are braver than me though when it comes to the spiders and roaches. I keep trying to persuade my husband that we need a couple of pet rats but he dislikes them more than the snails.

That is lovely snailcrazy, I love it when kiddies come face to face with these little things and leave to be kind and to respect them. I think you are doing a great thing. I adore rats but with having a bunny and I am thinking of having another African Pygmy Hoggie, it maybe too much. Anyway, hubby will say no we have enough. Can you ever have enough things to love? No, I know he is right, I have to be practical. Every rat I have ever held nuzzled me, it was wonderful.
You will be fine Kippen hunny, when do you think you are doing to start or do you have to do some research first about how to go about it? Please keep me informed.
