Big snailies rock. Good luck for your last exam n let us know how it go's. Life's been well crazy here with all the work load n deadlines. I've the last few mugs to paint designs on in under glaze then to get to the pottery for there big glaze n firing.
As for the company logo design well the guy was over today and he love the 3 options i had drawn up, now its a few changes and additions to one of them and to draw up the final logo.
I can start to breath agai9n but it'll be at least end of next week before I'm finished with this lot. Then its finishing my sculptures and to make a rawhide drum and I'm all set for the craft fairs that begin next month YAY.

Thanks Zorst, the exam went well enough that I know I passed it (we need to get at least 50% right to pass). I don't really care which grade I get because I was so ill. The illness is down to a little cough and I feel quite energetic again, so it's all turning out pretty all right. I wish I could visit the craft fairs where you're selling Zorst, those things sound so crazy cool.

Glad your feeling somewhat better Etana and that the exam went ok fingers crossed you do get a good pass rate.
LOL! When I get them back from the Pottery and the stand all set up I'll take some photo's and post them on here. Its hard work because you have to concentrate hard and have a really steady hand to paint on pottery as one mistake can wreak the piece.
I did a snail bowl a while back for my eldest rugrat and painted her some snails on it. The mix of glazes wasn't great as i had to borrow a few and they weren't the best colors. This time I bought my own glazes so they should be better as I had more of a color range to work with. I will see when I get them back from the Pottery so fingers n toes crossed they will all be ok lol.

I hope they turn out ok. I do polymer clay and it is quite nerve racking in the oven, hoping it doesn't crack or burn.

Nice one Mango, I also use a polymer clay for sculpture I sculpt horses the one I'm working on at the moment is a galloping horse.
I'll post some photo's of it if it survives the baking lol. The plates n mugs etc are made from proper pottery clay, I intend eventually to make a few snaily ones and offer them for sale, but that will be in the future.
Everything unfortunately got put on hold for a few days because I've got a bout of Salmonella food poisoning due to cheap shop bought eggs. Normally we never buy eggs as our own hen's keep us well stocked but there all in molt at the moment.
My ex who I share this farm with just grabbed me some value eggs from the supermarket in town as it was late one evening n they had very little on the shelves. I ate some for breakfast the next morning n man have I been sick.
Thankfully I was the only one who ate them. The Dr's today put me on total bed rest for the next few days to which I'm not fighting as Ive no strength to I'm apparently extremely dehydrated from this. I sure don't recommend it, At least the Dr gave me something to stop the stomach cramps, never again are we buying cheap value eggs, if I ever have to buy them again its organic free range. Or better yet make sure I have a few extra hens who don't go into molt at the same time as the rest lol.

Thanks guys, I feel as weak as dish water with no strength but at least the stomach cramps are now finally under control.
I'm still having trouble keeping anything significant inside me but the Dr did give me some re-hydration fluids intravenously and I'm now able to sip some liquid and keep it down in very small amounts at last.
One good thing I guess is I've lost some weight lol but I sure wouldn't recommend doing this way.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry you have been really poorly, I hope you are feeling better. Yes I agree, it is nice to lose weight but not that way. Could you tell me love what breed the tiny snails are that I am looking after?
