Just a quick update on my snailies and I am happy to report that all is good.
We had a partial substrate change yesterday and everyone had a shell check at the same time. I am happy to report absolutely no cracked shells and some wonderful signs of shells growing.
Some new cuttlefish bone has been put in, three pieces to be exact so no one snaily can hog it and everyone gets the chance of a nibble. These gorgeous little guys are a please#ure to feed, one little one loves pepper. it is so gratifying to see them eating and mooching about. I hope more than anything that they are happy.
Thanks for listening friends.
Love and hugs Jo xx

Very nice, I'm so glad to hear all this Jo It's such a pleasure to see their shells growing well, isn't it? I definitely think snails can sniff their favourite foods, and pepper is a big one here too. I learned my lesson to offer it in small pieces after one particular big mommy snail sat on all of it and wouldn't let anyone near, lol.

Ha ha, that happens in my tank too Etana sweetie, whilst there is no actual aggression there is a great deal of "I'm a very greedy snaily" LOL!! Thank you Zorst love, this was a red pepper and I have just run out. I do think they know when there is something extra tasty in there. They seem to like all the colours though and I am trying to establish which is a favourite for whom but I cannot keep track. It certainly is nice to see healthy shell growths.
Thank you so much for your kind replies ladies, they are much appreciated.

Thank you for that Zorst love. We do not eat asparagus but I wouldn't mind buying some just for the snailies to see if they like it. Thanks for the tip hun.
