Hi guys I was wondering if I could get some help with the growth of my albino fulica. We got Apollo about 2 months ago now, and she's nearing a year old, she grew about 2 cm in the first month, but now seems to have the outer ring the older snail get. She's tiny though, and I'm wondering if she'll have another growth spurt? (She has access to cuttlefish bone, calcium carbonate powder, and calcium carbonate blocks. The other snails are growing at leaps and bounds if that helps)

How long is the longest measurement you can take of her shell? Pics taken on hands can be a bit misleading. She is not albino btw, as that refers to a completely white foot and pink eyes. She mostly looks like rodatzi. Some snails never grow awfully big, however I have seen my own slow growers take a growth spurt when I've added more heating to the tank - in some cases, they've done that even after already having grown a thicker shell edge.

Ooo nice she's 8.3cm in shell length We did change the heating slightly higher as Jim seemed ill, which has helped Jim look less ill and Windy has grown about 2 cm in a few weeks but it doesn't appear to have affected Apollo

That's within the normal adult size range, so additional growth might or might not happen. Either way she's a lovely snail, and curiously, she has a very round shell compared to most of my snails. I think my Tauno would look small next to her, because his shell is very narrow even though it's long!
I'm glad your other snails are doing better with the added heat. Let us know if Apollo grows more at some point, and how Jim is doing.

Ah brilliant, I think as Jims rather large she just looked tiny but I'm glad it's normal

She's a nice healthy looking snail from what I can see in your photo's and as Etana has already said she's in the normal adult size range, I've had some snails that have seemed to stop growing for months then suddenly for no reason they have a growth spurt.
As long as your snail is happy, healthy, eating and active I'd not be to worried.
