It'll be illegal to import Reticulata into the US and the snail would be destroyed if discovered. You could risk this as I believe landsnails.org will send to the US at the risk of the buyer - however I don't think this is fair on the snail. Fulica are ill-thought of in the US and are particularly damaging in Florida.
Taking snails across state lines is heavily regulated - and you can encounter a huge fine. There's a much bigger thread on petsnails with several American posters who are up-to-date with the legislation.

My dream snail in real life would be an albino Achatina Fulica. Imaginary, it would be a Helix Pomatia the size of a cat

I wonder what they would be like if they were much much bigger and the size of a small pet. They would need a lot of cleaning out that is for sure lol! Hugs Jo xx

Just think of all the snail trails! How wide, wet and sticky! And the sound of that snail eating. Oh my!

And how would you keep them moist? There's no terrarium that big. Yes, a mop would be necessary

I just imagined following a dog-sized snail around the house and pouring little cups of water on its neck 😄

Or maybe a misting bottle? One should hope for very water-resistant surface materials in the house though!

Hello everyone, I know it's been a good few years since I've been active on here (Apart from one post in 2019) and I chanced upon this forum again by searching for the Archachatina marginata ovum Nigeria type 1 leucistic's on google pictures. It's a dream snail of mine and I'm lucky enough to be adopting three of them this month. It's been a while since I had a pet snail and I'm excited again to be part of a snails life.
