Anyone scavenged any 'junk' for their terrarium/enclosures?
I've found a lovely pot today that I'll use as a hide. I've been collecting fallen branches and treating them, too.

Yep, especially with my wild caughts as they already know how to deal with locally found wood etc. I'm more careful with what I introduce to my giant snails, but they have quite a few old, cleaned plastic flowerpots. I used fishing line to hang them in the corners of the tanks, and the snails are very interested in climbing up to them and napping.

I get flower pots from a local nursery taht they normally just take to the dup. great for my garden but they also make great snails caves / hides. I have a whole cave complex for the snails in the big tank, it helps hold more snails in the tank than ther should be when i get young snails until there rehomed.
The rest of the time the time they end up being used by certain snails as there home camps lol.
Marrow our biggest snails has got 3 that he uses, the big one with his bath in it n then 2 other big ones to sleep in when his adoring fan club get to much for him. Marrow uses the smallest one only he can fit inside lol and ends up with a pile of snails sitting outside the entrance waiting for him.

They both sound great and innovative. Do you have any pictures?

On rare occasions I might look for sticks or nice rocks.
