I'm still searching how to feed my snails proteins. I gave them turtle pellets and shrimp. I think i over soaked it a bit but they didn't touch it at all. I boiled them an egg and mushed it. They touched it and turned around faster then they came. So now i want to try cat food. My cats have almo at the moment:
Would this be tafe to try soak and feed them?

Hmmmm...with snails I'd avoid grain fillers as much as possible. Also the added copper worries me a bit, I don't know if that's a dangerous amount but just saying.

Ok, it's not a cheap brand so i thought maybe this might be good to feed them. But so far they seemed to like the turtle food this time. I misted it well so it was moist. Last time i did it in water and it all fell apart (duh probably). They didn't want to eat it when it was all mushy. Now they nibbled it, ate a few pellets and even some of the shrimp.
How often should i feet them this? And the baby's? The baby's haven't touched it yet.

The point of getting it wet is to ensure that it won't expand in the snail's gut and cause blockage. Usually protein snacks are given once, max twice a week. Snails would nibble on dead animals (and dead snails, bugs etc) in the wild but they aren't available every day.

Yep i know why we have to soak it/make it moist. But i never had fish so i didn't know that the flakes would become mush in water. Now i do. I'm going to look for some fish flakes next week at the pet store. I have to get cat food anyways and i feel a bit weary to give the one with the shrimp to my baby snails. I'm afraid something might go wrong because those have more chunks. It might be more safe to give them just simple pellets. Any brand or anything you can advice me to look after? Mine haven't gotten any proteins so far actually. Everything i tried, they didn't like. But 2 out of 4 did eat the flakes yesterday. I just took it out because of the fish smell and it doesn't look like the other 2 touched it again. I did put it on a separate dish so maybe they just did't find it.
