Hello my friends. I am writing to ask if anyone else's snails make a noise at night. At first I thought it was just the sliding of their little bodies on the glass but it isn't because no one was on the glass at the time. I have never heard of it before but are they capable of any sound?

Lol yes! Sort of squeaky, squishy sounds and the odd bubbling. It's very funny, but the house has to be super quiet if you want to hear it.

Thank you again ladies, you are right Etana love, the house does have to be super quiet for them to do it. It is so cute and I wonder if they make that noise when they are trying to court another snailie or are having naughties. Do either of you know how they do it please? Hugs JO xx

They were doing it again last night Etana love but when I approached the tank, they stopped. I think they are having a game with their mum lol! Hugs JO xx

Snails really do make quite a lot of noise during the night time! Rasping, dropping, shell sliding, pneumostome poppings, you name it!
