Hi all, I ordered a new baby snail, but unfortunately we have a new postperson who doesn't know we're happy for them to leave post with neighbours, and so baby snail has gone to the post depot. The only time I have to collect him before Monday is tomorrow before work. Does anyone think this will be a problem, I'm going to bring food etc, and keep him in my drawer so he shouldn't cause any issues? It's a heated office and no one minds if I bring him in xx

If everyone is indeed fine with it, it sounds better to me than letting him sit alone in the dark box, at the back of the post depot. What kind of baby is he?

The idea of bringing a snail to work has never crossed my mind, but since you have an office with a drawer to hide it, it should probably be doable if you're discreet about it.

I agree hunni and I cannot see any reason why anyone would mind. Indeed if someone bought a snail to work when I used to be a secretary, I would have spent all day cuddling him. Yes, I would say go for it, after all it will only be for a short time. Please let us know how it went love.

Hello all thanks for the replies I took the snaily to work and he was a big hit everyone thought he was just lovely and there were many selfies taken, I was quite worried I'd have issues hiding him all day, but it was quite the opposite, he hardly got put down all in all it call it a success, may be known as the snail girl now though x

I am so pleased to hear this love and it is such a bonus that everyone loved him. We don't know how anyone cannot love snailies as we all do on here. I bet he loved the attention bless him and I am not surprised you have acquired the name "The Snail Lady." Paul is known as "The Guinea Pig Man" at our vets because we once had 21 of them and we were always down there with someone.

It was gorgeous hunni; bloody hard work but we persevered. Miss having baby piggies around.
