I brought my classroom snails home. Except for a time or two, I haven't seen any of them move or come out of their shells. Several are stuck to the glass in their tanks, and 4 of them are all stuck to each other and have been for a few weeks. None appear to have moved at all, except one I accidentally knocked off the ceiling of his tank; he grumpily slimed right back and went back into his shell.
I spray them, give them fresh food, and my house probably ranges from 68-73 degrees Fahrenheit. When they were at school, most of them came out most days once or twice during the day to interact and/or eat. I believe they are milk snails. Some are farm-raised, some are wild caught.
Any suggestions on getting them back to their regular outgoing selves??

Sometimes snailies will rest for a very long time and it is easy to think they are dead. I have two at the moment who are doing that and I am just hoping they are alright. More knowledgeable people on here will be able to help you love but you seem to be doing everything right. Please keep us posted.

I too think it's relocation stress, and a rest period induced by it. I hope they'll be ok and start being more active again.
