I'm sure you will see many, many snaily kisses Jo, and a sad snail's face just light up with joy when seeing a missed friend who's been in quarantine, if you ever need to use a quarantine that is. There definitely are snaily versions of many emotions, it's great to watch.

I feel so lucky that I am going to experience this Etana love, I am so looking forward to it. It sounds as if they really do love each other and that is wonderful.

Speaking of snail love. (Click on the thumbnail) One is on his back in the bath tub, another stuck to the root piece by just the very tip of the tail with his shell tip in the soil, and they're completely still. I slowly opened the tank door to get a good pic, and they both bubbled, "Leave us alone!". Understandably so.

That is just adorable hunny, they are having a loving canoodle! I love the way they let you know if they do not want to be disturbed.

Yes, and they stayed that way for HOURS. When I went to bed, they were still like that! I don't know how they got out of that position but today both snails were fine, climbing around the walls.
Yeah they sure will let you know, with bubbles and funny grumpy faces. The bubbling also helps when you're looking for baby Tiger snails that are deep in their tunnels (I dig them up about once a week for shell condition checks and to see that no one is aestivating) - the moment your finger brushes their shell, they bubble so hard it makes a sound. It'd be harder to find them if they didn't do that, lol! I try to make it up by placing them on good food.

Ha ha, I wonder if they get pins and needles if they stay in one position for too long bless them? I will have to make a little "Do Not Disturb" sign for when mine come LOL!! Oh dear, it is really a game of hide and seek then, I am looking forward to all this Etana love. Placing them on food is a good thing, I do that with my hermit crabbies sometimes if I don't think they are eating enough. Looking forward to those lovely grumpy faces too.

The flash was a bit too powerful here, but just look at the joy of Iisakki bathing under new tank decorations (a lot of plastic plants) - he dances to see if he can reach them.

A different kind of beauty this time... I thought for a long time whether this photo belongs here, but here it is. My dear, sneaky Tauno. (Click for big version, as always.) He was hanging off the shell of the rodatzi and I threw him a basil leaf, hoping he'd climb down to eat it. However he streeeeetched and was able to grab and eat the leaf like a rodent! No need to let go of the other snail! Beautiful snaily thinking, eh?

Ha ha, he is beautiful and what a funny snaily photo. I couldn't make it out at first but it is amazing the positions they get into and how they will stretch to prevent having to move.

It is Jo Tauno also makes the most hilarious faces when he's waking up. A few times I've seen him uncurling his face, to reveal he's been sucking on an eye in his sleep! Yesterday we also laughed at him for so long when he was trying to wake up but his eyes kept going back in and his face made all these strange shapes, hahah, I so know the feeling from many of my mornings.

Achatina immaculata romance, with a third snail watching very closely indeed LOL - can't blame him though, I too found their embracing to be mesmerizing.

That is brilliant Etana love, fancy going to sleep with one eye in your mouth, that has to be one of the best. Haa haa, I know how I feel in the morning and probably look a lot worst than when a snaily when he wakes up LOL!! Be careful hun, they know when you are laughing at them Gorgeous picture by the way, really stunning, thank you for sharing it with us love. Hugs JO xx
