Speaking of grumpy snails, Gaius the Tiger ruined Grey Nose the Margie's carefully, carefully planned bathing time. Seriously, Grey Nose had been sitting at the edge of the bath tub for at least 15 minutes, likely longer, and Gaius decided to go right in instead of waiting in line. For once I actually had my camera at hand for such a funny passing moment.

Thanks Jo! When Mauno was a bit smaller with a freshly grown shell, he did earn the nickname "Dolce Gabbana" for always being so pretty and photogenic!

Yes GTS, it's so good to see the joy of little snails! Last night the two had eaten so much, they were lying on their sides next to food. A good thing the tank is safe for that.
