Thank you, snails are such beautiful beings. And I'm hoping that he does, he enjoyed his back and wiggled his tail out a little bit but wouldn't come out, once he does become more social and active I'll be taking lots of pictures

Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing. One of our Tigers was very shy when we bought him, too. I'm sure yours will 'come out of his shell' soon. Out of curiosity, where did you get them? Ours might be related!

Edit: I've just ordered four snails online, so I'll have plenty more pictures to come soon. My aunt is fine with them and her son seems to be interested in them as well. Here is what to arrive! Archachatina marginata suturalis Nigeria type 1c Archachatina marginata suturalis Nigeria type 1b Archachatina marginata suturalis Nigeria type 4 silver body Archachatina marginata suturalis Nigeria type 4 albino body

So this morning i bathed the snailies again. This time the normal wasnt as retracted into his shell. After they bathed i let the albino crawl over his shell incase he thought he was alone with no other snails. And then two hours after i found this! I am currently sat talking to him and while he still seems timid, he isnt hiding from me. EDIT: Last pic, I'm super excited! I nipped out to the shop for my partner and when I came back he was sat on the floor saying "He's out!" I'm so happy it hasn't taken him long to get used to the new vibrations and handling. He's still out now and climbing about.

I'm glad I'm now alone, I used to always talk to my snails before. My little garden snail I had when I was 9 (Oscar) I used to speak to him and I swear when he heard me talk he would pop his head out. I know they can't "hear" but I'm sure the vibrations of my voice grew on him

I too am sure they learn our voice's vibrations, and possibly understand them differently than us humans with our fancy ears do. At my home, talking to snails is no big deal, but how about remembering to not do it to wild snails in public places, or pet store snails? Uhoh, not gonna happen!! I love to see the little guy out of his shell. Say hi to him from me!

Haha when I'm out I'm always talking to animals, any snail I see mid path I pick up and move to safety, talking to it as I do. And I'm the same in pet shops when I see the reptiles "Oh hello cutey, what a handsome snake you are" people give you strange looks but how can we not talk to such cuties! Once he starts coming out more I'll get more pictures for sure I'll pass your message on when he wakes up
