Great photo's of your snails and I'm so glad the timid one is slowly becoming less timid. I live n work with many kinds of animals and I talk to them all Horses, Jackdaw, chickens, sheep , cats and snails. Even wild animals, they all understand in there own ways after all were the daft species who forgot how to understand there language.

Maybe it is translates somehow and they understand perfectly what you are saying to them love. You are right Zorst love, there was a time I think when we could understand exactly what they said to us.

I'm actually surprised at how large they are, I was expecting little babies. So here is the first two Here are the other two, the albino was really retracted but with a warm spray they both came out. Feeding time after four days in the post. Some of the snails having a little greeting. Also, can someone explain this? I've seen my snails do this years ago and I called it "Batman face" But the tiger had a look then just did this at the new members before turning away to bury.

Gorgeous snails! I love the snaily hug photo.
That "batman face" is familiar, my best guess is that snails do that when they're not sure about the situation at hand. The shyest Tiger I ever had (who looked just like yours with the tan skin) reacted like that to new snails too, while the others would go give them pats and hugs.
