One of those dreams you are glad to wake up from Zorst hunny, glad the little snailies were all safe and sound under their little duvets.

He he, egg hunt day once again, it both is and isn't fun to check EVERYwhere...oh well, I get to wash some of the decorations while I'm at it, and get Halonen's bubbly, grumpy disapproval.

Oh dear, seems that my Egg Machine's children are Egg Machines too. Nurgling just laid his first clutch, and he's only 6 months old. I didn't expect him to be able to do that yet. It was about 100 eggs too, so he's starting big even though he's not fully grown, you can tell from his shell edge that he's not planning on stopping the fast growth yet.
Man, if anyone anywhere needed a bunch of super duper fertile fulica who have big and strong genes too.

UGH! Def more egg hunts then.
Sorry I've not been around our old cat is missing most likely due to nature taking its course with him but were all worried about him and just want to find him.
He's 20 years old and has a few health problems but is always around for his breakfast at 6am every morning letting us all know its breakfast time. Well time for his first breakfast at any rate.
Anyhow what ever the outcome we just want him found so its a case of going over each paddock n every building on this farm with a fine tooth comb until we know one way or another.

So sorry to hear about the cat Zorst, it's the worst when you don't have any idea what's happened. I hope you find him. I had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday, I was telling a snail about how I'd lost a tooth and he looked at me like "think of me, I've never had teeth". Whew, they numbed half my head, but at least I didn't feel a thing!

I am so sorry Zorst, I hope puss comes home soon. I know what you are going through, it has happened to me a couple of times during my life, we are kitty people too. Oh Etana love, I hope you are feeling better. I have had more tooth extractions than I care to admit too. Hope snailies were a bit sympathetic at least LOL!! Please let us know when you find puss.

Thanks, I'm in fact healing very well, I didn't even need painkillers yesterday anymore. Apparently wisdom tooth removal can be easy, too!
Dug up another clutch of 100-ish eggs. Man... They seriously thought I need that many more snails? *shakes head*

Glad you are feeling very well hunny, it must be lovely to be able to move around pain free. 100 eggs? My, what are you going to do with them love, all those little babies? Bless them, they probably think that egg hunting makes mum happy LOL.

Thanks! It is good yes, I can chew again now too as the swelling is gone. I'm just avoiding the hottest foods for this week.
Every egg I find goes in the freezer and later becomes a protein snack for the snails. I only hope I got them all out. I can't have any new baby snails at the moment. I heavily recommend you do the same with yours Jo. If you want to see a new snail be born and learn to use his tiny foot (which is a little wonder, no denying that) then keep 1 or 2 eggs, but no more.

You will probably find your appetite improves to hun, I have heard of this happening. Are you foody? I am a bloody pig if I am honest LOL!! Thanks for that advice Etana love, I will do as you suggest. If you were not careful, I can imagine you would soon have far more snailies than you can cope with and that would be dreadful.

Cat is back, some hay bales shifted in the stack and his hide hole sleeping spot got enclosed. He's fine hungry and a bit thirsty but fine and now eating like there's no tomorrow.
I couldn't post it as my internet went down but we found him that evening because I insisted that the hay stack was thoroughly checked again and bales moved.
Def great to see baby snails hatch but seriously only hatch out what you can keep in case you cant re home them.
Storms have hit again today UGH so here's hoping that the phone lines r ok this time.

Aw I'm really glad the cat was found alive. Phew. Jo, yeah I am quite foody though I also have a some kind of digestion anomaly I think, because it's very very hard for me to not be underweight! It was quite a nuisance when I was growing up, as I didn't have fat anywhere that girls should have it, if you know what I mean. These days I manage to look more normal lol. But yes my appetite sure was great after I got off the smoothies, yoghurts and ice creams again and allowed myself a warm lunch. Back on topic, now Pepper and Paavo mated all evening yesterday. They can't get enough!
