LOL! More eggs.
Gotta admit I'm a bit of foody myself I trained as a chef but I'm not to much over weight, I did put on weight due to the meds they had me on over winter for my lung, basically to keep it clear n functioning after loosing the other one to a work related disease. I wasn't exactly eating n the meds were steroid based UGH!
Any how with help from a good physio I'm loosing the weight I put on n strengthening my good lung.
I'm not into sweet sugary foods and raise, grow, hunt or forage pretty much everything we eat. So I know where our food comes from and how it was raised or grown etc. Its harder work but better for us and I enjoy growing or raising things. I went back to the kind of diet my ancestors ate because a normal European diet doesn't agree with me. Its proven to be an interesting adventure so far and we have foods that really taste like they should do with no pesticides etc in them.
Yes cats def being spoilt lol.

Oh Etana hunny, I am sorry you have digestional problems and I can well understand how that would restrict what you eat. I am glad you have eaten lots of lovely things and are now able to eat proper meals again, how is your mouth?.
I have to admit I am greedy, not so much with meals but with chocolate and sweeties, Most people have a box of chocolates and open them and have one or two, I can have 7 or 8 no problem LOL!! Now I do have a weight problem and is my own fault for being such a bloody pig LOL. I do try and exercise some restriction though, but sometimes I comfort eat which is fatal. I am into sugary things Zorst hunny, that is my trouble. That is interesting, where did you train as a chef, I'm impressed?
Glad Pepper and Paavo are enjoying themselves, it must be wonderful to watch.
Hugs Jo xx

Ooo chocolate I love it, I'm a bit of a chocoholic, can eat a big bar if galaxy in one go. Good job the slimers don't eat it as not sure I could share that. Just been reading the thread as been away for a while, seems snaily love is in the air. My rodatzi is leaving me presents a month apart of a couple hundred eggs and my Rhodei keep leaving eggs in various places. Had 12 in 2 different places then 6 more 2 weeks ago. It's like snaily wackey races. My son likes to cook and he is good. He loves improvising and makes some nice meals especially lasagne. Bless him, he also loves his food and we are all having a healthy eating binge as he is getting a bit of a food belly. I would have loved to train as a chef the trouble would be I would probably eat too much lol. Hope you are on the road to recovery Zorst, big snaily hugs to you. By the way the little baby sut is looking silvery. Will try and get some pics.

OOOOO looking Silvery sounds real cool , def post some photo's please. Jo my uncle was a head Chef at a very upmarket hotel, when I was a teen I cooked him a roast dinner over an open fire he was so impressed he took me aside and taught me to cook properly.
Years later back home in Canada I got a job at a top restaurant, they found I could cook and trained me up to be one of there Chefs, so I trained on the job and gained experience the hard way before going to collage was really the thing.
It meant that I trained as I worked along side a lot of good Chef's whilst still being able to work breeding n training horses during the summer months. So the chef work helped pay for the horses I had and I was able to do both jobs that I loved doing.

Wow, you have had some fab jobs. I love horses, been riding on and off since I was ten then had a bad fall off my horse and lost my nerve. I damages my back and I am paying for it now. My back is very dodgy, but still love horses and ride occasionally on a friends horse. On the job traini g is good as you can earn a wage while working.

Ahh believe me I know what you mean about horse riding accidents Snail Crazy,I broke my lower back 20 yrs ago in a riding accident when a horse came over on top of me, then last yr someone else's horse kicked me in exactly the same place and re fractured part of the same place.
Guess I'm just stubborn lol but with the help of a good physio I'm walking and can run a bit but I'm also back riding just not the young stock.
I do take it much more carefully these days no risk taking etc but I couldn't give up riding lol.

Egg news again. The young Nurgling is still learning, his last egg burrow was so close to the glass wall that you can see the clutch right there. What an easy egg hunt this time LOL.

Ouch, I have a good osteopath in Scotland, I go around 2 or 3 times a year aa I find working in school on low tables doesn't do me any good. Horses are greay but it usually hurts a lot when you come off especially the big ones. My really meant to get me off. I stayed on most of the bucking and kicking but he was heading for a huge fence and I thought I was going to have to bail off as I was only learning to jump and there was not way I would have stayed on if he did get over it. But he decided to buck, wriggle and do and sharp right and I went flying into the fence. I did the wronf thinf by tryinf to stay on, then he legged it. Still love to ride now and then.

Etana what are tou feeding your snailies, think they are having an egg laying competition just to keep you on your toes. Lol Lol, the usual stuff is: Lots of sweet potato, always a calcium source. They also regularly get sweet pepper, salad greens leftovers, carrots, apples, swede, and more rarely peas, corn, nettles and dandelions, pumpkin seeds, some nuts, maybe melon etc. I also try to give a protein snack (egg/meat/good dog food) and a little bit of spirulina once a week on average. They're just like their Big Mommy who this thread was originally about, they just gotta make lots and lots of eggs. The tank where Pepper, Nurgling and Paavo live (away from my other fulica) is also quite warm so that might encourage them to breed even more lol.
