Well, I have never seen anything like it. I asked Paul to get a corn on the cob for the snailies and I cut one in half yesterday morning in case they weren't keen. This morning I found the husk, I have never seen a piece of food so totally obliterated LOL!! It is a favourite all right and they will be getting more tomorrow but I wanted to to concentrate on their egg today. Does anyone know if they like mint? My friend bought me a mint plant for the bunny and guinea but U just wondered if the snailies would like it too. The above menus sounds really great

I've had mixed success with mint before Jo, some did accept it but others stayed clear.
Parsley amongst some other greens tonight for mine.

Mine are not too fond of the mint. Makes their tank smell lovely though. They love the basil and cress which they were eating tonight. Alone side crushed mealworms and snail mix.

My snails are having pea-corn-pepper mix tonight.
Also yesterday they had some lettuce that had wilted in the fridge. Nothing was left of it today. I normally don't give them lettuce so they don't get used to it, but now it'd been weeks and the lettuce had wilted, so.

We have some dried mealworms for birds, are they the same kind? I've never thought of offering them to the snails. Do you just crush it into a paste?

my lot also love the dried meal worms, and sweet corn which I also grow. They tried mint and it gets a few nibbles as did the Thyme but the parsley and basil yeah those get munched. I have a perfusion of salad mix and lettuce in the poly tunnel so tonight that will be part of there dinner. So Marrow will be in 7th snaily heaven lol! Also for desert banana and apple.

I am having a pygmy hedgehog soon for a pet and they love dried mealworms so it is a delight for me to find out that snailies do also, they can share them. Mine have had another piece of sweetcorn today but they were a bit naughty last night and didn't eat up all their eggie. Never mind, I guess they know if they need it or not lol! Today we have had mixed leaf salad, apple, sweet potato, pear, strawberry, raspberry and banana. I will ask Paul to get some Parsley and basil for them tomorrow. Thanks for the tips Zorst love.
