They had pretty much what they had the other day and they have finished off a whole corn on the cob.

We are off to Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia for a week on Wednesday. Any suggestions for slow spoiling foods for the snails? We have someone who will spray the snails daily but isn't too keen on getting dirty in the tank. Over Christmas when we were away they were fine on corn on the cob, but my father was available to remove and replenish every few days.

I hope you have a nice holiday love but I am not sure what foods would work well for you in these circumstances. Perhaps someone else on here has been on holiday and can give you a few tips, I do hope so.

I've placed extra large cabbage leaves and corn on the cob in the tank this morning. They should be fine with regular misting. Hopefully the poop build up isn't too overwhelming.
Thank you, Jo.

I put another corn on the cob in there yesterday and |I have never seen anything devoured so quickly. There were a few beans left on the bottom so I have turned it around so they can get to the rest. They are like naughty children, they gorge themselves on corn and then won't eat their other food LOL! My snailies love pear too.

Haha wow Jo. Mine are having sweet potato and just a bit of cucumber leftovers from cooking. I'll have to buy corn on the cob too.

I sliced some carrots for my snails tonight.
Ah I'm late for the holiday food question, I'm so sorry...but I usually leave big chunks of sweet potato with my snails if I go away.

Thanks Etana love, little buggers they are LOL!! Mine had their weekly couple of eggs today and even though Paul has bought them some corn on the cob, I am going to give it to them in a day or two so they concentrate on their egg and vast range of other goodies I have given them. Hugs Jo xx

I'm back home, the snails are all fine which is a relief.
They are having strawberries and mint served on cabbage leaves tonight, and demolished fish flakes this morning.

Wow Borini love, that sounds really good to eat ourselves lol! Mine are stuck with the same things at the moment as hubby is sick in hospital and I cannot get out to get them anything different but we have plenty in at the moment.
