Lol, nice set up. I have just done the tank in my sons room. Just wondering how long it will look good before my margies buldoze throuhg it. They just love burrowing under their bowls and decorations. Hmm might take before and after pics. Hehe. How can people say snails are boring. You never know what the little slimers will get up to next.

Hehe!! So true! it never looks that good for long! They like to do a bit of their own 'decorating' once I'm done... think we've got clashing tastes when it comes to interiors!! wouldn't be without them tho!

That looks great love, the snailies should be very happy in there. I am not very good at decorating in fact I am not very arty so when I get them their Exo Terra tank, I will be looking for a few ideas. Ha ha, yes I am prepared for them to do a bit of their own decorating LOL!!

Very nice! I'm experimenting with making lots of caves in my big tank, I build them out of big plastic flowerpots, it's turning out all right. In my smaller tank I have this pear shaped hamster house that is loved VERY much. I always find it in a different position in the morning than it was the previous eve. It occasionally has several snails inside, and my biggest one in the tank hardly fits in but he goes in anyway, and has learned to come out bent all backwards haha!
Since I got the Margie babies I've also had cuttlefish bones sticking up from the soil (they're bulding a Bonehenge?) and loose plastic leaves that I have in the tank pulled into the bath tub lol.

And thanks jo! I'm sure they'll luv whatever you make for them!! They're not too picky with things like that... and with a natural theme it's hard to go wrong!! Because seriously, what is 'right' in nature... everything is just a bit random!!

Thanks Kippen love, I must admit I will feel better when they are in a bigger tank but they are so expensive. The decorations will certainly be random if I am doing it LOL!! I think things to climb on and hides are a priority. Mine haven't had a party/rave yet, but wait until they have settled in a bit more LOL!! Bonehenge Etana hun, I love it, very good.

Ha, this morning the hamster house was in the bath tub, with a snail sitting next to it patting it with his eyes, "I want to bathe but.. THIS...!!" I took it out, there was also food, poop and soil in the bath, and their calcium treat was across the tank from its original place too. I have no clue what's been going on at night. Anyhow I cleaned up and added some water into the bath, and the snail went right in. Anyhow I'm going to Ikea today and hope to find some super nice fake plants, and I will finally post photos if I do

Not really to do with tanks but thought it was cool... Snailies have got a nice treat of clover and nettle that I picked on a rather pleasant walk down the track with the dog this morning... on which I saw three squirrels, a field mouse and a hedgehog, all of which were within ten feet of me!! made my day!!

Oh Kippen honey, that would have made my day too. Paul saw a hedgehog the other evening and we both went and said hello, it is wonderful isn't it? Yes that platter looks fit for a snaily banquet and I hope the you enjoy it. Mine are proving to be little fuss-pots, they love lettuce and apple but leave the really delicious offerings like strawberry and peach. Oh well, I will have to try a few other things.
